Now over the past year or so, I have read quite a few different affiliate marketing blogs. I am really wondering who we all think is the true CHIEF of all affiliate marketing bloggers. What affiliate marketing blog is it that makes you smile when you think about it, that really gets you excited when you see a new post in your RSS reader?
I am hoping this poll will not only give props to whom they are due, but also maybe point out a few gems that I might have missed along the way. So, enjoy the poll and if your pick for CHIEF isn’t on the list, simply comment with a link to the blog and I will get it added as soon as possible.
Chief of Affiliate Marketing Blogs
All of these hold value, but out of them, I choose Shawn’s blog. 5 star is outstanding, but doesn’t aways get you thinking as much as others. Revenues is a personal favorite, but seems to fall more on affiliate news side. Shoemoney is great and has gotten alot of people excited, but there is alot of other stuff on his blog that’s unrelated and sometimes its a long period of time without anything helpfull. AOJon is the master of shocking info that makes you think but he is moving away from affiliate into other stuff now. PepperJam is outstanding but can push their stuff too much sometimes.

Thanks for the support of Pepperjam Blog. My guess is that the shoemoney blog has allowed more people to quit-their-day-job than any of the others – he’s got my vote.

A little vote rigging going on from Pepperjam. Recruiting friends to vote that have nothing to do with affiliate marketing, then if they win I’m sure they will promote the heck out of how they were voted best blog by their peers. Shady Pepperjam, shady.
PJ blog is ok, but it’s soooo self-serving and self-promotional. All the other blogs up there (with exception of aojon) at least give the appearance of neutrality and objectiveness.
I have to admit though, they are very good at marketing (themselves). It’s amazing to see the buzz they are able to generate just simply by talking about themselves.

We have a lot of fun at Pepperjam. Pepperjam Blog wasn’t created to be a marketing platform – we have our corporate websites for that kind of thing and based on the daily influx of outstanding leads that come through those websites, we are doing a fantastic job marketing our services.
To say that we are rigging the contest is ridiculous. In fact, I’ve only voted once and it was for Shoemoney. Moreover, we have a pretty sizeable staff who were a bit frustrated when their vote didn’t count because of the one IP address fraud protection built into the contest – in other words, these kinda things aren’t perfect.
By the way, we found out that we were added to the list after the list was created so in terms of quality content we are doing something right, which I’m proud of.
There are a lot of solid affiliate marketing blogs – I believe this contest highlights some of them, including our own. Other contests such as Search Engine Journal Blog Awards highlight others.
Finally, there really isn’t another blog like Pepperjam Blog because most corporations and networks just don’t allow them. We take great pride in showcasing our staff and if that’s self-serving and self-promotional we are guilty. However, things aren’t about to change and if you don’t care for the quality of our blog you clearly don’t have to read it.
For everyone who has voted for us thanks a bunch for your support – our entire team is honored by the results so far even if I personally have to admit that Shoemoney has the #1 affiliate marketing blog!

I just started reading revenews and found very informative suggestions that did help me out. My vote goes out to Revenews. Don’t miss out on Pepperjam… It’s a hit too depending on what you are looking out for.
