Blog Hits Top 10 Alexa Movers & Shakers

I had someone point out to me today that this blog has hit the Top 10 Movers & Shakers list of Alexa. I really don’t pay much attention to Alexa rankings until they hit the top 5,000, and even then webmaster sites always show skewed results. Anyways, here is an image of it as it won’t last long…

Being dugg probably helped a lot :)

Did you see significant amounts of traffic coming from that Alexa page?

I would attribute some of that to Digg, but since the move over to leedodd.com (from forumtrends.com), I have seen my normal daily traffic almost triple.

that makes sense - with forum page views it’d definitely bump things up! Well done.

Wow, thats awesome, I always figured their top movers and shakers paid them or something to be on there because I’m sure a lot of sites get huge shifts in traffic and Alexa doesn’t put them up…

Whatever, nice job!

I always wonder about technorati. Its so famous, yet I don’t really hear of anyone receiving much traffic, even the top100 lists apparently don’t yield much. Did being on this list make any difference?
