Record Earnings…Again…

Just figured I would start out the month with a quick update and motivational piece. I don’t know about you, but I dread the first business day of the month while also looking forward to it. I set aside a large portion of my working hours on these days to tie up the books from the previous month. That is the not-so-fun part. This consists of reviewing trends from the previous months, getting all partnership revenues in order and paid out, and updating all expenses and categorizing them. I use an Excel spreadsheet (which I keep by the month) to handle all of this, while my CPA uses QuickBooks 2006 to handle the raw numbers.

I have two motivating factors here:

1. The goal of being done with it.
2. The final numbers for the month.

The numbers from March are up by 14%, something I am VERY pleased with as that equates to nearly $20,000!

I know we all like to see the numbers as it serves as motivation and inspiration. I would like to think we also all have to deal with tracking and number crunching as well. Isn’t this living the good life?!?!

14% incrase is $20,000….. *drool*

$142,000*14%=$20,000

$142,000+20,000=$162,000×12months=

$1,944,000 = $2 MILLION!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not too many one man companies can say they do that, from HOME.
