YPN Has Been Updated

Over the weekend, YPN performed another update to their Beta Publisher Program. I noticed the effects when stats from over the weekend were not updated until early Monday morning, but this wasn’t an issue for me. They have always been good to get it done and not lose any data, and since I am not working on the weekends I didn’t have to deal with any frustration about delayed reports.

The two main updates that occurred over the weekend were increasing the reporting URLs and reporting categories from 50 to 100 and making the style palettes removable and the pallete names editable I never use the palettes, but the addition of 50 more channels will be very helpful as I have been maxed out for some time now.

I also spent 20-30 minutes on the phone with my account manager at YPN today. Her main recommendation to publishers at this point is to make sure they block all international traffic. If you value your YPN account, I would definitely put this on your list of things to do.

Block all international traffic? Thats not a simple task, especially if you want to rotate another network like adsense in to let it not go to waste.
