I am Headed to The Big Seminar in Atlanta!

I felt this was a must attend for me. The Big Seminar is coming April 7,8,9 to Atlanta, Georgia. A good friend of mine Joel Comm attended the last Big Seminar in November of 2005. I was considering attending that one, but instead I opted to head to Las Vegas for my first ever WebmasterWorld PubCon conference. When I got back and talked with Joel, he was so excited about what he had learned at the Big Seminar. He was like a kid and I remember his exact words on the phone that day, “It will help me bring in $1 million in business next year!” When I heard that testimonial I knew I was going to Atlanta in 2006.

Here we are in February and registration for the conference has just opened up (yesterday). Already almost 300 have registered and the maximum number of registrations is 500. I have registered and I won’t say it is cheap. The seminar costs $1,997, but I really feel it is 100% worth every penny from what I have heard. If you are at all serious about making a living from your websites and/or community, then I would encourage you to go.

My offer: The links in this post are affiliate links. I will make $1,000 for each sign up that I refer. If you are going to sign up for this conference, I will give you half of my commission which amounts to $500 AND I will spend two hours with you as a group answering any and all questions about internet business and growing your online community. Not only will you save $500 off the ticket price, but you will get some personal time with me where we can discuss what you need to be doing to grow your forum.

I would really like to meet some folks that read this blog in Atlanta. What most forum owners don’t understand is the power of networking. At a conference like this you will meet people and be able to form partnerships, joint ventures, brainstorm money making ideas, and the list goes on. It will be a must attend for me for years to come! I hope to see you there!

I wish I was in a position to attend this but that is not the case now. Maybe next time I will be able to attend!

I just didn’t figure you for a guy who’d be plugging this kid of thing Lee. Color me disappointed.

Do you know something I don’t? I spent $2,000 and I am going myself. This isn’t something I am plugging without stepping up to the plate myself, and like I said I have a very good friend that loved it.

Isn’t it like the www version of an Amway convention?

Not from what I have heard. It is definitely different than most techie conferences, as there is much more focus on networking and “sales” so to speak. Like I said, I have a friend that has been and loved it, as well as I have heard from several others that it is invaluable.

After I saw your post, I did Google it, spent about fifteen minutes poking around. All I saw was lots of people saying how great it is, just click this affiliate link right here and sign up and you will see the light. I didn’t find any substance in any of the mentions.

The web site makes it look like its some sort of scam site. It probably isn’t but you’d think they’d be able to make something that looks professional.

Will be interesting to see the results. Most every time anything presented for a fee somewhere can be found for free somewhere else. In the end it comes down to whether paying the fee is worth the time savings by not having to search. At $2k a pop they better give you a 12 step program on how to substatially increase your current revenues.

Your friend went last year, and said that it would help him to pull $1M over the next year. That begs the question, now that 3 months have passed since the last Big Seminar, did your friend make $250k on his way to $1M?

Doubter – The answer to your question would be an astounding YES! I was with him we he worked one deal that would bring him more than $50,000.
