I want to wish you all a happy new year. I believe 2006 will definitely bring some exciting changes in the forum world. It will be fun to have our questions of the what the new year will bring answered over the coming months. Questions like:
What advances will be made in forum software?
What will happen with Web 2.0 in 2006?
Which communities will experience the most growth?
Will advertisers latch on to communities?
There are so many things to ponder this year, and much work to be done! I wanted to shed a bit of insight into what I feel will be another exciting part of The Forum Fix. We already have our young series called “In the Beginning” which has become quite popular, but I plan to take it a step further. I am planning to take one of my forum ideas and start building it out from scratch. I haven’t done this due to time constraints since March of 2005 when CruiseLineForums.Com began. It is time to start something new with the new year to look forward to. The exciting part of all of this is that I will be charting progress made and showing you step by step what I do to grow a brand new forum. I think you will greatly enjoy!
I look forward to watching the new forum grow, and reading the series charting its growth. What is the new forums topic?
